Green Apple promoting health and wellness, visited Darb el Karam in West Bekaa. Attracted by the idea of tourism for the promotion of food heritage and healthy traditional cooking, the production team met with Darb el Karam hosts and learnt about baladi goats and the healthy benefits of mulberries.

Boutros Bou Maroun, from Saghbine and documented a day with a shepherd, milking, caring for goats and making fresh goat cheese with his wife.

The next stop was at
Raymonda Nakhleh's Table d'Hôte in Kherbet Qanafar, where the team participated in mulberry picking and in a mini - cooking class making mulberry and purslane turnovers. Raymonda highlighted the health benefits of mulberries and the history of their cultivation in West Bekaa.
