The Food Heritage Foundation, in collaboration with the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit ESDU is organizing a “Winter Souk” Farmers’ Market on Thursday February 26, 2015 in the courtyard the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences – AUB from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The market will present around 20 producers from different Lebanese regions who will propose a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, traditional food and pastries, and other local products. Organic fruits and vegetables will also be provided by the Healthy Basket. The latest nutrition tips and advice will be given out at our nutrition booth in partnership with AUB Nutrition Society.
