Food Heritage Foundation (FHF) is a Lebanese non-profit organization that believes in local food heritage's potential for economic development. Founded in 2013 by the Environment and Sustainable Development Unit (ESDU) at the American University of Beirut, FHF promotes sustainable rural livelihoods, local food systems, and best practices in agro-food production.

Mission & Vision

We promote the livelihoods of rural producers and processors through the creation of rural-urban linkages, while also enhancing agricultural and food security aspects in Lebanon. Our goal is to become a significant driver of economic development by supporting the livelihoods of rural producers and promoting the revival of local food heritage.
